Incorporate Psychology (ICP) applies a practical, psychological lens to help businesses and individuals with complex human challenges. We believe in a real-world, practical approach to psychology, supporting people through change.  We provide services in organisational psychology as well as counselling for individuals and couples. Our pillars of service are Counselling, Executive Coaching & Leadership, Assessment and Consulting.  Matt Dale established Incorporate Psychology in 2011, after identifying an opportunity to utilise his extensive mix of clinical and organisational psychology across both the private and corporate sectors. In 2018, we re-branded to ICP, expanding our services further into executive leadership, organisation design, consulting and coaching. ICP has a growing team of national associates, with offices in both Brisbane & Sydney and clients across Australia.


Matt Dale is the Founder and Principal Psychologist with over twenty-five years’ experience in the field of psychology. A registered Psychologist and full Member of the Australian Psychological Society, he has worked in the counselling and clinical fields in both public and private arenas. Matt has also been in national leadership roles, principal consulting roles and executive management roles with some of Australia’s leading Human Capital firms. Matt’s roles in the field of counselling include Psychologist for the Royal Flying Doctor Service, Psychologist with a community mental health team, counselling Psychologist with an EAP provider and the Government mental health initiative, Headspace. Matt is also a respected media commentator, having featured on ABC Lateline Business and Sky News Business and in other specialist publications. 

Matt has a real passion for working with individuals to achieve their goals and work through personal, career and mental health issues.  He also enjoys working with organisations on their people programs, helping them get the most out of their people and their business. Matt's diverse career across different spheres of counselling and his work in the corporate sector provides him with a unique understanding of the pressures faced in personal and work life. He brings a down to earth, practical, yet empathetic and professional approach to his work, to partner with people through change.


Rachel joined ICP in 2016 and is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society. Rachel has been working as a Psychologist for over 20 years in a variety of public and private sector hospital, community and educational settings in Brisbane, Sydney, Cambridge and Canberra. Rachel has extensive experience in helping people deal with a wide range of psychological conditions including: Anxiety (panic attacks, social phobia, OCD); relationships, depression; workplace stress & burnout; anger management; trauma (PTSD, Adult survivors of sexual abuse); eating disorders; and grief & loss.

Rachel also assists people to manage challenges and adjustments that can come with different life stages such as: Women’s health issues (fertility, pregnancy, post-natal depression, menopause); sexuality; assertion and communication skills; parenting  & adjustment to medical diagnosis. Rachel has trained in a variety of evidence-based therapies such as: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT); Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT); Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT); Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). Rachel works collaboratively with people and enjoys seeing them move on to live happier and more fulfilling lives. Her approach is built on trust, respect, warmth and compassion.


Mark is an experienced Psychologist who joined ICP in 2020. Mark brings a wealth of experience working with adults and couples, supporting an extensive range of psychological challenges including: Anxiety, depression, relationships, personality disorders, grief and loss, stress and burnout, sports psychology and performance, addictions, self-harm. Mark focuses on a person-centred holistic approach utilising a number of therapeutic approaches including CBT, ACT, mindfulness based approaches, MI, CFT, IPT, DBT, problem-solving, narrative, schema, trauma-focussed, existential, family therapy  and psychodynamic.  

Mark is a passionate, knowledgeable and empathetic psychologist with extensive experience in clinical, counselling, and performance settings. He also works in private practice with adult clients, for the national youth mental health foundation - Headspace, and as a provider of mental health services to elite athletes through the AIS Mental Health Referral Network. Mark has worked in the role of Team Psychologist to the ‘Jackaroos’ (the National Lawn Bowl Team), and was an embedded psychologist at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Mark has a proven track record of working with clinical and counselling clients, offering a person-centred approach to enable positive change in client’s lives, so that they may enjoy improved mental health and greater wellbeing. 


ICP is delighted to welcome Nina Perry to the team in 2020. Nina is a Professional Member of the Career Development Association of Australia (CDAA), a Strong Interest Certified Practitioner & an Accredited Strengths Practitioner. Qualifications include a Graduate Certificate in Career Education & Development from RMIT, a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) & a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) both from Griffith University. Nina specialises in career counselling, transition and pathways & is a professional career coach with a mission to support others to engage in work that capitalises on their unique strengths, interests and abilities. Nina has assisted over 2,500 individuals with planning and managing their careers. She also facilitates workshops and seminars in career management for audiences of all ages and backgrounds. In these challenging times, where career pathways have been impacted by the changing covid-19 landscape, ICP is delighted to have Nina on board to help individuals set, pivot or re-chart their career plans. 




Bryce joined ICP in 2019 and is currently studying a dual degree of a Bachelor of Business Management (Major in Human Resources) and Psychology at the University of Queensland. Bryce has administration experience supporting psychologists in a clinical setting and also has a particular interest in organisational psychology and psychometric assessment. Bryce currently manages the administration of our Psychometric Assessment program as well as plays a key role in managing the practice operations and liaison with clients and medical practitioners.


Clare has been supporting Incorporate Psychology's marketing and strategic partnerships since 2011. With over twenty year's experience in strategic marketing and communications, Clare provides the team with operational and business development support. Clare's experience in developing Employee Value Propositions and branding plays an important role in the consulting arm of the business.
